Is a freelance musician and sound artist and has been managing director of performing:group since 2014. Since 1996 he has worked in various bands and projects, often between death metal and reggae and with experimental sound collages. In 2005 he studied pop music at the Amsterdam Conservatory. The birth of his son brought him back to Cologne in 2012. Since then he has focused his work on collaborating with performing:group. He wrote the film music for "Hüter meines Bruders" by Maximilian Leo (opening film "Perspektive Deutsches Kino" Berlinale 2014) and in 2018 the end credits music for "7500" (AT) by Patrick Vollrathafka.
Martin Rascher / Management, Music
Is a freelance artist in the field of theater, dance and video; and co-founder of performing:group. He studied film and theater in Argentina and contemporary dance in Germany. His works have been performed - often in collaboration with the Goethe Institute - in more than 20 countries, including the Sydney Opera House and Sadler's Wells in London. He specializes in non-fiction performances that address philosophical and political questions of global relevance. Kees recently completed his postgraduate studies in cultural management and works as a guest lecturer at various art schools around the world.
Leandro Kees / Direction, Choreography
After training as a youth and residential educator, she worked at the GRIPS Theater from 2009 to 2015. At the same time, she studied culture and media management at the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg. Since 2009, she has worked as a freelance artist and cultural mediator in various contexts. Among others, as part of the Culture Agents program, in collaboration with the Goethe Institute, the German Theater Göttingen, the International Literature Festival Berlin, the Free University of Berlin (FU), the Museum of European Cultures and the Junges Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf. In 2015, Laura Cadio was a scholarship holder of the International Forum at the Theatertreffen.
Laura Cadio / Managemet, Dramturgy
born in 1984 in Soltau, grew up in Hanover. He is an actor and director. Before his studies, he toured Africa, Europe and the USA with the youth circus "Circ'A Holix". He studied physical theatre at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. This was followed by engagements at the Theater Duisburg, the Landestheater Marburg and the Consol Theater Gelsenkirchen. He works and tours with the company Familie Flöz, with Fabian Sattler at the Maschinenhaus Essen and is a founding member of performing:group. In addition to his work as an actor, he works as a dramaturge and lecturer for acting for the Folkwang Dance Studio. In 2017 he directed "Controlling Crowds" with Julia Mota Carvalho at the Staatstheater Hannover and "Männer, die denken" at the Theater Oberhausen. He has lived in Braunschweig since 2015.
Daniel Mathéus / Direction, Performer
Studied contemporary dance at the Folkwang University of the Arts and, after seven years as a freelance dancer in Amsterdam, continued her studies as part of a master's degree in Cologne. As a dancer, she worked during and after her studies in works by choreographers such as Trisha Brown (Accumulation - Documenta 12) and Pina Bausch (Tannhäuser Bacchanal, Wuppertal) and assisted Lia Rodrigues (Rio de Janeiro) as a dramaturge. She worked as a dramaturge and teacher of movement composition at the Stadttheater Düsseldorf and the German Sport University Cologne. In 2017, she directed "Controlling Crowds" at the Staatstheater Hannover and "Männer, die denken" at the Theater Oberhausen with Daniel Mathéus.
Julia Mota Carvalho / Performer, Dramaturge
Actor, dancer, theater maker and movement director. From 2012 to 2016 he studied physical theater at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, where he founded the company KimchiBrot Connection. In 2017 they won several theater awards with their debut piece 'Living happily ever after'. He regularly leads workshops for children and young people and works as an acting coach with professional dancers. He directs at the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum and choreographs at the Staatstheater Kassel (2016, director: Philipp Rosendahl), as well as at the FFT Düsseldorf (2017, director: Michael Stieleke). In 2018 he choreographed for Mizgin Bilmen at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and performed the dance performance DELUXE for Marcus Grolle, Morgan Nardi and Kathrin Spaniol (Düsseldorf).

Choreographer and dancer, based in Essen. She is a recipient of the Pina Bausch Fellowship for Dance and Choreography 2018. She will spend the scholarship with Horácio Macuácua in Mozambique and Europe.
She is currently working on her first full-length production. Parallel to her studies, she has shown her first works in formats for young choreographers, including at tanzhaus nrw, tanzfaktur Köln and Zeche1 Bochum. In 2015, she was commissioned to work at the 638 Kilo Tanz Festival in Essen and won the jury and audience award with her work "Eva", which she created for this festival. In 2016, she completed her studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts and has worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer ever since. In July 2017, she completed a residency at Pact Zollverein with dance scholar Franz Anton Cramer as part of the "Choreographic Dialogues".
